Lok Du & Andrew Ho (Hope & Sesame – Guangzhou)
Long Bar Macau’s 2025 edition of “Adventures in the Cavern” ends on a high note on November 22, as we welcome @andrew_hobo and Lok Du from @hopeandsesame – Mainland China’s best bar to date, ranked #7 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars and #29 in the World’s 50 Best Bars.
Tucked away in Guangzhou’s historic Dongshankou district, Hope & Sesame is a laboratory of cocktail innovation, continuously pushing boundaries through rare ingredients and advanced distillation techniques. Co-founder Andrew Ho has recently been crowned by Asia’s 50 Best Bars as “Altos Bartenders’ Bartender” – voted entirely by fellow bartenders, and one of the most respected titles in mixology.
At the bar takeover, he and Hope & Sesame’s Bartender Lok Du will present a one-off seasonal menu, pouring their creativity into every libation.
